Anonymous comments have been disabled

I've just blocked two long comments claiming to have inside knowledge about the work being carried out on cycle schemes and road surfacing in the area. Both anonymous, and one making bizarre claims about a scheme being 130% carbon negative!

Now the odd quick anonymous comment is quite acceptable in my book, but when someone claims detailed knowledge of TfL/Croydon Council's business then I think they ought to identify themselves and tell us who they represent, particularly when they are clearly spouting greenwash.

So, for the moment, all comments will require an identity.

Mike, I might have guesed you were connected to Local Goverment from the use of a words line "spouting greenwash", my comments about TFL were removed, we pay these people !!
I have lived on Duppas Hill Road for over 20 years and have been trying to get TFL to pull there finger out to help protect road uses and the many school kids that walk up the road getting hit by the flying tarmac.
I do not represent any party just a concerned person!!
If you want original copies of the emails from TFL then I will be happy to pass them on to you, but like all political parties they only want to do somthing for the people when there is a election.

I know you will not allow this to be posted, but I want you to know that some people do not want to be known but able to add comments, your loss not mine !!

No I am not connected to local government, but to cycle campaigning for the past 20+ years.
